Gérald Genta.
Genta proved that a watch could be architecture: proportion, line and restraint carrying a design across decades. Not to imitate, but to measure every INFINI sketch against.
“The best designs look like they have always existed.”N°01 The Glacier. A 38 mm case, a hand-sprayed dial and two hands, nothing more. Hand-finished in Basel.
Inside N°01 sits a Seiko NH38A automatic. Its balance swings back and forth 21,600 times an hour, and every swing moves the hands a little further. No battery, no quartz. Wear it and it winds itself.

“The best designs look like they have always existed.”Frozen rivers that move a centimetre a day and forget nothing. The dial emerged by accident; its resemblance to glacial ice became deliberate. A quiet homage to Alpine permanence.
No numerals. No date window. No applied indices. Reduction isn't minimalism for its own sake: simplicity is the hardest thing to execute, and the only thing that ages without complaint.

I'm Dylan, 20, from Basel. Before INFINI there was @diamondials, where I buy and sell vintage watches for a community of more than 41,000 followers. Every watch that passed through my hands taught me something about proportion, and about what lasts.
INFINI began as my Matura thesis at the Wirtschaftsgymnasium Basel. Today I design every piece myself, from the first sketch to the CAD file to the final finish, and I answer every message personally.
